(Serves 1)
The warm weather is upon us, and I am once again on the hunt for my drink of summer. I enjoy cocktails that are not too strong and are easy to make. If I have to make simple syrup and muddle things, I’ll make it for a special occasion, but probably not on a random Friday night. This drink is refreshing and a good balance – a little bitter, a little sweet with the Campari and Limoncello.
It’s easy to make for one or a crowd. I have listed the ingredients in ounces to easily multiply for a group, with just a little math. A pitcher of this with some friends on the deck = a perfectly relaxing evening.
You Will Need:
- 4 ounces Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc
- 2 ounces Campari
- 2 ounces club soda
- 1 ounce Limoncello
- Orange or lemon wedges for garnish, if using
Instructions:
- Combine the wine, Campari, and Limoncello.
- Add the club soda and gently stir.
- Pour into a wine glass with ice and garnish with orange and/or lemon wedges, if desired.
- Relax and enjoy.
